Balasaheb somehow manages to confer the most prestigious dance award on Sugandha and she plans to dance in the award presentation ceremony. But she is hospitalized due to a heart attack and Jayashree dances instead of her thus breaking her promise. Coincidentally, Balasahebs foreigneducated son is present for the performance and falls for Jayashree.
